my philosophy
I use to be a firm believer in not selling my digital files. Why? Because that is what all the rockstar photographers at conventions told me to do to make more money. For a long time I didn't sell my files, and then I became a mom. As a mother, I cannot imagine letting even a single image of my children escape my grasp. It's true that many of my personal photos are stored away on hard drives and don't get the love or attention they deserve, but I still have them and I can still revisit every memory that they represent. I don't want to take that access away from any of my clients, so my sessions ALWAYS come with all your precious digital files.

FAQ
How long does it take to get our photos delivered?
This varies on when and where your session took place. If you are located in San Diego, then sessions do not get edited until I am back in Seattle, I edit in the order the sessions are photographed. If you are located in Seattle then expect 2-10 days depending on my schedule. If you need photographs within a certain timeline, please let me know.
What if we have more than 6 people in our family?
If you have more than 6 people or are looking for an extended family session then the cost of the session is $850. If you have more than 20, please send me a private inquiry so we can discuss pricing and logistics for larger groups.
What if we want more than 10 files fully retouched?
You can purchase retouching on as many files as you wish. The session comes with 10, any retouching after that is $20 per file.
Do you do holiday cards?
Yes, but probably not the way you are accustomed to. There are so many options for cards these days that most of my clients do their own cards. For families that want something unique or doesn't want to spend the time searching, then I am your girl. Every card I design is one of a kind. My San Diego clients usually just give me the photos they want to use and set me loose. I send them a mock up and we go back and forth from there. For Seattle clients, you can come into my home office and we can design the card together.
I can't choose which photos to enlarge for my wall.
No problem. You can come to my home office and we can pick out photos together or have a phone appointment to discuss which photos would look best enlarged and framed.
Can we purchase prints from you?
Of course! Many of my long time clients still prefer to order prints through me rather than ordering on their own. You can email me directly, the file number, size and if you want BW or color. Or I can take your order over the phone. Anything you order directly through me gets fully retouched and shipped to your door.
